Whimsical light photography tip.

                     

Whimsical sparkle and sweetpeas, such a dreamy combo! I used a fixed portrait lens for this shot, one of my faves! It was a warmly lit morning, the best time to photograph whimsical looking pictures.

I set my ISO to 400 as I wanted as much light as possible, but not too much that the image would become over exposed, and set my depth of field to f2, voilà, beautiful & light.

It's that time of year again, when I'm dreamily flicking through spring flower catalogues, and deciding which bulbs to buy ready for autumn planting. My favourites are parrot tulips! I love to capture their beauty, such delicate ruffles, think I'll be ordering lots of these!

Living in colour

I love the pop of colour in this shot!

It just caught my eye and I had to snap it.
